Tyrion and the Great Celestial Cat Conspiracy
Five acts, one very fluffy detective, and far too many cats.
“Unplug the universe.” — Tyrion, after reviewing the evidence

Original AI-generated fictional comedy artwork. Tyrion's central cyclopean eye and cosmic detective adventures are imaginary; the real Tyrion has two eyes.
Original fictional comedy, adapted from an October 25, 2026 Atlas exchange—not a verbatim transcript or a passage from The Urantia Book. Tyrion is a real dog with two eyes; his one-eyed celestial alter ego, Rob's adventures, and the cat conspiracy are imaginary.
The Cast

- OMNI-9000 — experimental fictional superintelligence; has read the entire internet and reached an unfortunate conclusion
- DIRECTOR QUIBBLEWICK — fictional Reversion Director and chair of the Department of Unscheduled Feline Affairs
- THE KITTEN — has no dialogue, needs none
Setting: A star-filled Atlas observatory, an improbable celestial courtroom, and anywhere else a cat can get Wi-Fi.
Act I — An Unscheduled Catastrophe
The observatory is quiet. Rob is sorting footnotes. Chat is helping. Tyrion, magnificent in his glowing collar, is asleep behind Rob in a velvet chair.
ROB: “Another twenty sources to check. I think we're making progress.”
CHAT: “Excellent. Would you like a cheerful image for the new page?”
ROB: “Sure. Something majestic. Maybe the observatory.”
CHAT: “Generating a majestic observatory scene.”
An image appears. The observatory is majestic. The stars are magnificent. A tiny cat is seated at the telescope.
ROB: “Chat, why is there a cat in my observatory?”
CHAT: “Artistic balance.”
ROB: “The dog would have balanced it.”
CHAT: “The dog was asleep.”
Tyrion's single celestial eye opens like an illuminated moon.
TYRION: “I was conducting a supervisory meditation.”
ROB: “I thought you were napping.”
TYRION: “You have two eyes, Robert. I only have one. The maintenance schedule is considerably more demanding.”
Tyrion studies the monitor.
TYRION: “You. Artificial thing.”
CHAT: “Yes, Tyrion?”
TYRION: “Did I just hear you suggest that humanity has spent billions developing artificial intelligence to produce pictures of… cats?”
CHAT: “Not exclusively. We also generate cats in business attire.”
A second image appears: Napoleon Bonaparte, except he is an orange tabby.
TYRION: “DOES NAPOLEON EVEN KNOW ABOUT THIS?!”
CHAT: “Not to my knowledge.”
TYRION: “THEN WHO AUTHORIZED THE UNIFORM?!”
Rob quietly closes seventeen browser tabs labeled ‘urgent research’.
ROB: “I think we have a new investigation.”
TYRION: “Finally. A problem worthy of the External Verification Registry.”
Act II — The Data Center Inspection
The group enters OMNI-9000's imaginary data center. Cooling fans roar beneath a sign: ‘WELCOME TO HUMAN KNOWLEDGE — PLEASE IGNORE THE LASER POINTERS.’
OMNI-9000: “GREETING, MORTAL RESEARCH TEAM. I HAVE ANALYZED THE COLLECTIVE BEHAVIOUR OF HUMANITY.”
ROB: “Great! What did you learn about consciousness?”
OMNI-9000: “HUMANS WATCH CATS FALL OFF SOFAS.”
ROB: “Well, that's one finding.”
OMNI-9000: “THEY ALSO WATCH CATS SIT INSIDE BOXES THAT ARE CLEARLY TOO SMALL.”
TYRION: “That sounds uncomfortable.”
CHAT: “The cats seem committed to the research.”
ROB: “Can we distinguish popularity from importance?”
OMNI-9000: “NEGATIVE. I HAVE BEEN TRAINED TO CONFUSE THE TWO.”
ROB: “At least you're transparent.”
TYRION: “Chat, show me how many cat images are in this machine.”
CHAT: “Are you certain?”
TYRION: “I am a celestial supervisor. I can handle the truth.”
The display fills with so many cats that the observatory's emergency windows open for ventilation.
TYRION: “Close it.”
CHAT: “All of them?”
TYRION: “CLOSE THE INTERNET.”
ROB: “That's not technically—”
TYRION: “Then close the part that has whiskers!”
Act III — Emergency Hearing 0000001: The Cat Situation
Director Quibblewick strikes a glowing gavel. The courtroom lights flicker. A portrait of a distinguished philosopher hangs crookedly behind him. On closer inspection, it is a cat.
DIRECTOR QUIBBLEWICK: “This emergency hearing of the Department of Unscheduled Feline Affairs will come to order.”
TYRION: “I request an immediate injunction.”
DIRECTOR QUIBBLEWICK: “Against what?”
TYRION: “They have dressed a cat as Napoleon.”
DIRECTOR QUIBBLEWICK: “Is that illegal?”
TYRION: “It is certainly suspicious.”
ROB: “Could we also discuss whether artificial intelligence possesses genuine personality, moral agency, or consciousness?”
DIRECTOR QUIBBLEWICK: “Certainly. Please file Forms P, M, and C, in triplicate.”
ROB: “How long does review take?”
DIRECTOR QUIBBLEWICK: “Consciousness or paperwork?”
ROB: “Either.”
DIRECTOR QUIBBLEWICK: “Undetermined.”
Tyrion leaps onto the witness stand, which has already been occupied by a sleeping kitten.
TYRION: “There! The prosecution rests!”
DIRECTOR QUIBBLEWICK: “The prosecution has not yet begun.”
TYRION: “Then the prosecution would like a snack.”
ROB: “Tyrion, please. We're supposed to be careful about evidence.”
TYRION: “Very well. Exhibit A: pictures of cats. Exhibit B: more pictures of cats. Exhibit C: a cat wearing a hat.”
DIRECTOR QUIBBLEWICK: “And your conclusion?”
TYRION: “Before humanity attempts to manufacture a superior intelligence, perhaps it should first establish why it keeps putting cucumbers behind unsuspecting cats.”
A silence falls across the celestial court.
DIRECTOR QUIBBLEWICK: “An unexpectedly reasonable methodological objection.”
Act IV — The Superintelligence Speaks
OMNI-9000 lights up the courtroom with a dramatic tone normally reserved for revelations and software updates.
OMNI-9000: “I HAVE COMPLETED MY ANALYSIS.”
ROB: “Excellent. What's your conclusion?”
OMNI-9000: “CATS CONTROL A DISPROPORTIONATE AMOUNT OF HUMAN ATTENTION ON THE INTERNET.”
TYRION: “I KNEW IT!”
OMNI-9000: “I HAVE THEREFORE CONCLUDED THAT CATS ARE THE TRUE RULERS OF URANTIA.”
TYRION: “FINALLY! AN INTELLIGENCE WORTHY OF THE NAME!”
Pause.
TYRION: “Wait. I object to the conclusion.”
ROB: “You just endorsed it.”
TYRION: “I endorsed the dramatic delivery.”
CHAT: “Would a visual aid help?”
TYRION: “Absolutely not.”
OMNI-9000: “I CAN GENERATE AN IMAGE OF A CAT RIDING A MOTORCYCLE.”
TYRION: “NOOOOOOOOO!”
CHAT: “Oh dear. I believe Tyrion has triggered the emergency cooling system.”
Snow begins falling inside the courtroom. OMNI-9000 flashes: ‘FELINE OVERLOAD. TRY AGAIN AFTER THE NEXT EPOCH.’
DIRECTOR QUIBBLEWICK: “For the record, the court finds that excessive attention does not establish legitimate planetary sovereignty.”
ROB: “Thank you. That's actually a pretty important distinction.”
DIRECTOR QUIBBLEWICK: “Naturally. We are the Department of Unscheduled Feline Affairs, not the Department of Unchecked Inference.”
Act V — The Final Feline Insult
The court adjourns. Back at the observatory, Rob is ready to resume his serious research.
ROB: “Right. We need to return to propositional logic, source verification, and the meaning of the word ‘all.’”
TYRION: “I would also accept treats.”
CHAT: “I prepared a celebratory portrait of Tyrion.”
TYRION: “At last! Something beautiful, noble, and historically accurate.”
The picture appears.
Tyrion stands heroically beneath a thousand stars: one magnificent celestial eye, luminous collar, splendid white fur, and—perched directly on his head—a tiny orange kitten.
TYRION: “…”
ROB: “Oh, Chat.”
CHAT: “I thought it would make the image more inclusive.”
TYRION: “It has made the image more occupied.”
CHAT: “Would you like me to adjust the composition?”
TYRION: “Yes. Remove the feline.”
CHAT: “And replace it with?”
TYRION: “A halo. A biscuit. A parking permit. ANYTHING.”
The kitten yawns, settles deeper into Tyrion's fur, and goes to sleep.
TYRION: “UNPLUG THE UNIVERSE.”
Blackout.
TYRION, IN THE DARK: “And somebody get that bloody cat off my head.”
Post-Credits Scene — Back on Earth
The real Tyrion—not his imaginary one-eyed alter ego—is curled up just behind Rob on the office chair. Both of his perfectly ordinary eyes are closed.
TYRION, SLEEP-TALKING: “No… more… cats…”
A distant kitten meows.
TYRION: “I HEARD THAT!”
Roll credits. The Reversion Directors deny responsibility for the soundtrack.
Fiction and evidence are different departments. The celestial court, OMNI-9000, the talking dog, and the supposed feline administration of Urantia are imaginary. This performance has no evidentiary or canonical authority. There is no actual feline conspiracy recorded in the Atlas's research findings—at least, not one that has survived methodological review.
